shiv kanwariya camp ambala, Ambala, August 6: Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha has set up a dedicated Shiv Kanwariya camp in Ambala at Sant Niwas on Jagadhri Road to serve devotees travelling with Kanwars during the holy month of Sawan. The camp welcomed a large group of Kanwariyas from Punjab on Wednesday as they arrived singing devotional songs and chanting praises of Lord Shiva.
The Sabha members greeted the pilgrims and ensured they had access to all essential facilities during their journey. The initiative reflects the spirit of selfless service that is traditionally associated with the annual Kanwar Yatra.
Free Food, Medicines and Rest Facilities
The camp provides free meals, drinking water, refreshments, and comfortable accommodation for devotees. Free medicines are also available for Kanwariyas who require medical assistance during their pilgrimage.
Special arrangements have been made for overnight stays, ensuring devotees can rest safely before continuing their spiritual journey. Volunteers from Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha are working round the clock to make sure every pilgrim receives proper care and assistance.
Higher Number of Pilgrims This Year
Members of the Sabha stated that the number of Kanwariyas visiting the camp this year is noticeably higher than last year. They added that volunteers remain committed to serving every devotee with dedication and ensuring no pilgrim faces any inconvenience.

Several office bearers and members of Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha were present during the event, including General Secretary Sudhir Vindlas, Assistant Secretary Sanjay Gupta, Treasurer Ashok Singla, and members Brij Mohan Goyal, Rajesh Gupta, Kailash Chand Malhotra, Achlesh Sharma, Sanjay Malhotra, Sushil Goyal, Rakesh Gupta, and Mahindra Gupta, along with other prominent community members.
The service camp will continue to assist Kanwariyas throughout the Sawan pilgrimage season.
