Milad-un-Nabi Ambala
Ambala, August 27, 2026: A grand procession was taken out in Ambala City on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, with members of the Muslim community conveying a message of unity, love and brotherhood.
The procession was organised by the Raza-e-Mustafa Welfare Society. It began from the Dargah Hazrat Sai Tawakkal Shah Mosque located at the Old Sabzi Mandi.
The procession passed through several prominent areas of the city, including Tandura Bazaar, Sarrafa Bazaar, Dal Bazaar, Patel Road, Jagadhari Gate, Pammi Chowk, Cloth Market, Aggarsen Chowk and Kacheri Chowk. It eventually concluded at the Badshahi Mosque in Ranjit Nagar.
Hundreds of members of the Muslim community participated in the procession with enthusiasm and devotion.
Imam Calls for Following the Prophet’s Teachings
Addressing the gathering at Badshahi Mosque, Imam Mohammad Mobassir Raza said that the occasion marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad and is a blessed day for the Muslim community.
He said that the Prophet was sent by Allah to guide humanity and urged people to incorporate his teachings and ideals into their daily lives.
Councillor Ashu Saini and social worker and advocate Harsh Shahni were also present at the programme.
Society Gives Message of Peace and Brotherhood
Society representative Meraj Alam extended Eid Milad-un-Nabi greetings to everyone and called for maintaining mutual unity, love and brotherhood.
The celebrations also included the decoration of homes and mosques with lights. People illuminated their surroundings and decorated them with colourful lighting as part of the festivities.
Several prominent members of the community, including Kaleem Ashraf, Mohammad Noor Azam, Junaid Ansari, Masoom Raza, Wasim Raza, Rahmat Ali, Owais, Danish, Hafiz Irfan and Imran Khan, attended the programme.
The participants exchanged greetings and embraced one another while extending their wishes on the occasion.
