Siya Vatika case
Ambala: The dispute surrounding Siya Vatika Banquet Hall on Staff Road in Ambala Cantt has now reached the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The matter has intensified after an FIR was registered at Ambala Cantonment Police Station.
The Municipal Council has approached the High Court through its counsel and submitted important documents and reports related to the case. The documents primarily outline allegations of unauthorized construction at the Siya Vatika premises, with the civic body maintaining that construction was carried out in violation of applicable rules.
Municipal Council Submits Documents in High Court
According to the report, the Municipal Council has placed relevant records before the High Court to explain the action taken in connection with the property. The submitted documents are expected to help the court assess the circumstances surrounding the alleged unauthorized construction and subsequent administrative action.
The dispute involves the Siya Vatika banquet hall located near the Sub-Divisional Office on Staff Road, Ambala Cantt. The civic authorities have been examining the construction and other aspects of the premises as part of the ongoing proceedings.
Earlier Sealing Action Also Under Scrutiny
The matter also involves an earlier sealing action at the property. Questions have been raised over how the seal imposed during previous action was opened.
The Municipal Council has now placed the relevant records before the court. After examining the documents and reports, the court may decide whether permission should be granted for fresh sealing of the premises or whether directions should be issued for removal of the alleged encroachment.
Court Hearing Will Decide the Next Step
At present, the final course of action will depend on the proceedings before the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The court’s consideration of the documents and reports will determine whether further action, including resealing or removal of unauthorized construction, is warranted.
The case has therefore become an important civic and legal issue in Ambala Cantt, with the Municipal Council seeking appropriate directions through the High Court.
