Sports Gradation Certificates Ambala
The Haryana Sports Department has issued 123 sports gradation certificates to eligible athletes in the Ambala division under a special 10-day campaign, providing major relief to players seeking government jobs through the sports quota.
The initiative was launched to ensure that athletes receive their gradation certificates before the application deadlines for various government recruitments.
Special Drive Benefits Athletes Across Five Districts
According to the Sports Department, the campaign benefited athletes from Ambala, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Kurukshetra, and Karnal.
These certificates are mandatory for candidates applying under the sports quota in government recruitment, making the campaign crucial for hundreds of aspiring candidates.
Sports Department Worked Until 9 PM on Final Day
District Sports Officer Ram Swaroop said the department continued processing applications until 9 PM on the final day of the campaign to ensure that no eligible athlete missed the opportunity.
Officials and staff remained on duty late into the evening to clear pending applications before recruitment deadlines.
Sports Quota Recruitment Was the Priority
The special campaign was organised considering the closing dates of recruitment applications in different government departments.
The timely issuance of sports gradation certificates will enable eligible athletes to submit complete applications under the sports quota without facing documentation delays.
Regular Certificate Issuance Will Continue
The Sports Department clarified that although the special campaign has concluded, the process of issuing sports gradation certificates will continue through the normal administrative system.
Athletes who were unable to apply during the campaign can still submit applications under the regular procedure.
The department stated that the initiative was aimed at ensuring deserving sportspersons do not lose employment opportunities due to pending certification.
