HSVP Files FIR Over Illegal Encroachment on Government Land in Ambala

HSVP Land Encroachment Ambala, Haryana: The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has registered an FIR against a person accused of illegally occupying and cultivating government-acquired land in Ambala. The action was taken following a complaint by the Estate Officer and directions from the Superintendent of Police.

According to officials, the accused had allegedly encroached upon HSVP land and was repeatedly using it for agricultural activities despite several warnings. Authorities stated that fencing installed by HSVP to protect the government property was allegedly damaged multiple times, allowing unauthorized cultivation to continue.

The matter came to the notice of HSVP officials during routine inspections of acquired land. After repeated attempts to prevent the encroachment failed, the department approached the police seeking legal action against the individual involved.

Based on the complaint, police at Sector-9 Police Station in Ambala City registered a case and initiated an investigation. Officials said the move is part of HSVP’s ongoing efforts to safeguard public land from illegal occupation and unauthorized use.

HSVP authorities emphasized that government land acquired for urban development projects cannot be used for private purposes. They warned that strict action would be taken against anyone found encroaching on public property or damaging protective infrastructure such as boundary fencing.

The investigation is currently underway, and police are gathering evidence related to the alleged illegal occupation and destruction of government property. Further action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.

Officials have also urged residents to report any instances of land encroachment so that timely action can be taken to protect public assets and development projects in the region.
