Ambala News: Sweet Water Stall Set Up in Ambala Cantt to Provide Relief from Scorching Heat

Ambala Sweet Water Stall, June 15: Amid the intense summer heat affecting daily life across Ambala, members of Shri Ram Bhakt Hanuman Mandal organized a sweet cold water stall (Chhabil) in Lal Kurti Bazaar on Sunday to provide relief to passersby and local residents.

The community service initiative was organized near New Puran Hotel, where volunteers distributed chilled sweet water throughout the day. The effort was aimed at helping commuters, shoppers, workers, and visitors cope with the soaring temperatures currently being experienced across the region.

According to members of the organization, the event was conducted as part of their ongoing commitment to social welfare and public service. A large number of people benefited from the Chhabil and appreciated the initiative during the hot summer afternoon.

A significant contribution to the event was made by Shivani Yadav, who supported the arrangement in memory of her late father, Vijay Singh Yadav. Organizers said the service was dedicated to honoring his legacy and values of helping society.

Members of Shri Ram Bhakt Hanuman Mandal stated that the organization has been actively involved in various religious and social activities for many years. Inspired by the teachings and vision of the late founder Janki Das Garg, the group continues to organize programs that benefit the local community.

The organizers also acknowledged the special support provided by Ashwini Kumar, owner of New Puran Hotel, whose cooperation helped ensure the smooth execution of the event.

Throughout the day, volunteers managed the distribution of cold sweet water and interacted with residents who stopped by the stall. Many travelers expressed gratitude for the service, especially as temperatures remained high in the region.

Representatives of the Mandal emphasized that serving humanity is one of the core values of their organization. They noted that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference, particularly during challenging weather conditions.

Apart from social service activities, Shri Ram Bhakt Hanuman Mandal regularly conducts religious programs in Ambala Cantt. Every Tuesday, members gather for the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and various devotional activities. The organization is also known for organizing grand Hanuman Jayanti celebrations, including religious processions and community feasts attended by devotees from across the city.

Several members, volunteers, supporters, and local residents were present during Sunday’s event. The atmosphere remained positive and community-focused, with many people appreciating the initiative as an example of social responsibility and public welfare.

As summer temperatures continue to rise, such community-driven efforts are proving helpful for residents and travelers alike. Local citizens have welcomed these initiatives and encouraged more organizations to participate in public welfare activities during the ongoing heatwave season.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to all contributors and volunteers who helped make the event successful and reaffirmed their commitment to serving society through similar initiatives in the future.
