AI Workshop for Teachers – Naraingarh, Ambala: A two-day AI Workshop for Teachers concluded successfully at DAV Public School, Naraingarh, under the guidance of the DAV Centre for Academic Excellence, New Delhi. The capacity-building program brought together teachers from various DAV schools across the Ambala zone to strengthen their teaching skills and explore the latest developments in education, including Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The workshop was organized under the leadership of Principal Dr. R.P. Rathi. The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. M.C. Sharma, Honorary Treasurer of DAV College Managing Committee (CMC), and Dr. Vikas Kohli, Assistant Regional Officer (ARO), as chief guests.
Throughout the workshop, subject experts conducted interactive sessions covering a wide range of modern educational topics. Teachers received practical training in English storytelling techniques, geopolitics in social science, child psychology under the Early Education Development Program (EEDP), and the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of education.
Experts emphasized how AI can enhance classroom learning, improve student engagement, and support educators in delivering more personalized and effective instruction. Participants were also introduced to innovative teaching methods that align with the evolving demands of the education sector.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. M.C. Sharma said that such workshops play a crucial role in helping teachers stay updated with new teaching methodologies and emerging technologies. He added that continuous professional development enables educators to deliver higher-quality education and adapt to changing classroom needs.
Principal Dr. R.P. Rathi highlighted that the training would not only benefit teachers in their schools but also prepare them to contribute as resource persons at the CBSE level. He noted that regular capacity-building initiatives are essential for maintaining high academic standards and improving overall educational outcomes.
The event also witnessed the participation of principals from DAV schools in Yamunanagar, Sadhaura, Jagadhri, and other nearby regions, reflecting a collaborative effort to promote excellence in teaching through innovation and technology.
