Ambala Bike Accident – A tragic road accident in Ambala City claimed the life of a 16-year-old Class 12 student on Monday night after a speeding Bullet motorcycle allegedly collided with the bike on which he was travelling with his father.
The deceased, identified as Abhijot Singh, was a Class 12 student at Murlidhar DAV School. According to police reports, Abhijot was riding pillion with his father, Gurvinder Singh, a resident of Sector-10, Ambala, when the accident occurred.
The father and son were heading towards Sector-9 Market for personal work at around 9:15 PM. About ten minutes later, near Udham Singh Chowk, an unidentified Bullet rider reportedly struck their motorcycle from behind. The impact caused Abhijot to fall headfirst onto the road, resulting in severe injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The incident has left the family and local community in shock.
In his statement to the police, Gurvinder Singh said that Abhijot lived with him and was pursuing his senior secondary education. Police have registered a case against the unidentified Bullet rider under Sections 281 (rash driving) and 106 (causing death by negligence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Authorities have launched an investigation and are working to identify and apprehend the accused driver.
