Ambala Vita Milk Truck Accident
Ambala, August 6, 2026: A 24-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a tragic road accident after being run over by a Vita Milk truck on Durga Nagar Road in Ambala City on Thursday morning. The victim’s mother, who was riding pillion, sustained injuries and witnessed the fatal accident.
Fatal Road Accident on Durga Nagar Road
The deceased has been identified as Naib Singh (24), a resident of Nadiyali village. According to police, the accident occurred at around 11:30 AM when Naib Singh was travelling toward Ambala City with his mother, Kamlesh Devi, for personal work.
A Vita Milk truck was moving in the same direction alongside their motorcycle. During the journey, the motorcycle reportedly lost balance and collided with the truck. The impact caused Naib Singh to fall beneath the truck, where he was fatally crushed by its wheels.
Mother Injured in the Accident
Kamlesh Devi also suffered injuries in the incident. She was immediately shifted to the Civil Hospital, Ambala City, where she received medical treatment. Witnesses described the accident as devastating, with the young man’s mother watching helplessly as the tragedy unfolded.
Police Register Case Against Truck Driver
Local police reached the accident site soon after receiving information. Officers seized the Vita Milk truck and registered a case against the truck driver. The victim’s body was sent for post-mortem examination before being handed over to the family.
Authorities have begun investigating the exact circumstances that led to the collision.
Victim Worked at a Private Factory
Police said Naib Singh was employed at a private factory near Shambhu. He is survived by his wife, Meenu, a resident of Nangla village, and his family members, including his brother.
The sudden loss has left the family and the local community in deep shock.
Investigation Underway
Police are examining eyewitness accounts and other evidence to determine whether negligence, speeding, or any other factor contributed to the accident. Further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
