Unidentified Man’s Body Found in Rajokheri Pond, Ambala

Rajokheri pond body, Ambala: An unidentified man’s body was recovered from a pond in Rajokheri village of Barara block, Ambala, on Monday. The body was found in a decomposed condition, indicating that it had been in the water for some time.

The Barara police reached the spot after receiving information about the Rajokheri pond body. As the body was lying in deep water, local residents assisted the police in taking it out. After considerable effort, the body was recovered from the pond.

Police officials said the deceased is believed to be around 45 years old. However, his identity has not yet been established.

After recovering the body, the police sent it to the mortuary at MM Medical College in Mullana for identification and postmortem examination. The postmortem is expected to provide further information that may assist the investigation.

Barara police station SHO Ramkaran Saini said that the police are checking missing-person reports registered in nearby villages. Officials are also working to establish the identity of the deceased and determine how he ended up in the pond.

The police have not yet confirmed the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. Further details are expected after the identification process and postmortem examination.
