Ambala Boxer Shivani Wins Bronze Medal at Asian Under-23 Boxing Championship

Shivani boxing medal, Ambala: Boxer Shivani, who is posted as a CCTC employee in the Ambala Railway Division, has brought pride to the city and Indian Railways by winning a bronze medal at the Asian Under-23 Boxing Championship held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Shivani secured the bronze medal in the 70 kg weight category at the international boxing championship. Following her achievement, she was welcomed and felicitated at the Ambala Divisional Railway Office by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Vinod Bhatia and Sports Officer Chandrakant Mongre, Senior DEE/TRD.

During the felicitation ceremony, DRM Vinod Bhatia praised Shivani for her hard work, discipline and dedication. He said her achievement was a matter of pride for the entire railway family and expressed confidence that she would continue to represent India and Indian Railways successfully at international competitions.

Sports Officer Chandrakant Mongre also congratulated Shivani on her performance. He said the Ambala Railway Division remains committed to providing its athletes with modern training facilities and all possible support to help them excel in competitive sports.

Shivani thanked the railway administration, her coaches and colleagues for their support and encouragement. She also expressed her determination to perform even better in future competitions.
