Ambala Rain Brings Relief as 12.3 mm Rainfall Ends Heat and Humidity

Ambala Rain: Residents of Ambala finally received much-needed relief from the prolonged spell of heat and humidity after 12.3 mm of rainfall lashed the district on Monday. The steady rain, which continued for nearly one and a half hours, brought down temperatures significantly and created pleasant weather across the city.

Cloudy skies throughout the morning prevented direct sunlight, keeping the weather cooler even before the rainfall began.

Heavy Rain Lasted for Nearly 90 Minutes

Around 11:00 AM, a spell of moderate to heavy rain started across Ambala and continued for approximately 90 minutes. Following the rainfall, cool winds swept through the district, replacing the humid conditions that had persisted for several days.

The rain provided immediate relief to residents who had been struggling with soaring temperatures and uncomfortable humidity.

Temperature Drops Below Normal

The rainfall had a noticeable impact on the district’s temperature.

According to weather data, the maximum daytime temperature dropped to 30°C, which is 3.8°C below the seasonal average. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6°C.

The fall in temperature, combined with overcast skies and cool breezes, made the weather significantly more comfortable throughout the day.

Residents Welcome Pleasant Weather

The change in weather was welcomed by residents across Ambala, many of whom had been waiting for rainfall to bring relief from the intense summer conditions.

The showers also improved overall atmospheric conditions and are expected to benefit agricultural activities in the region if similar rainfall continues in the coming days.
