ToggleDr. Rajiv Sapra Appointed Acting President – The Punjabi Biradari Vikas Sabha Haryana has expanded its executive committee and appointed Dr. Rajiv Sapra as its Acting President. The decision was taken unanimously under the leadership of National President Sandeep Sachdeva, marking a significant step in strengthening the organization’s social and educational initiatives.
Executive Committee Expanded With 101 Members
As part of the organizational restructuring, the Sabha has inducted 101 members into its newly expanded executive committee. Several key positions, including patrons, vice presidents, joint secretaries, accounts heads, and IT cell coordinators, have also been assigned to experienced members.
The expansion aims to enhance community outreach, strengthen social welfare activities, and increase participation from members across Haryana.
New Academic Counsellor Wing to Guide Students
One of the major announcements made alongside Dr. Sapra’s appointment is the formation of a dedicated Academic Counsellor Wing. Operating under his leadership, the new wing will provide free career guidance and counseling services to students studying in Classes 10 and 12.
The initiative is designed to help students make informed academic and career choices while offering expert guidance on higher education and professional opportunities.
National Punjabi Federation Meeting in Nagpur
The 59th meeting of the National Punjabi Federation is scheduled to be held on June 27 and 28 in Nagpur. Prominent representatives and community leaders from across the country are expected to participate in the event.
The gathering will focus on strategies to strengthen the Punjabi community, promote social welfare programs, and discuss initiatives related to nation-building and community development.
Meritorious Student Felicitation Ceremony on July 18
The Sabha has also announced its 13th Meritorious Student Felicitation Ceremony, which will be organized on July 18, 2026. Students securing more than 75 percent marks in their examinations will be honored for their academic achievements.
Top-performing students will receive cash awards of ₹2,100, and honors will be presented across 11 different categories to encourage educational excellence among young achievers.
